Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital earlier this week, continues to be on ventilator and is “critical but improving”, hospital sources stated on Wednesday.
Mangeshkar, 90, was admitted to the Breach Sweet Hospital within the early hours of Monday after she complained of respiratory difficulties,
“She is critical but improving. She is still in the ICU and on ventilator. It will take some time for her to recover,” a hospital insider advised PTI. He added that Dr. Patit Samdhani is treating her.
Nevertheless, the music icon’s PR staff reiterated that Mangeshkar was “secure“.
